Rooted and nurtured by the beautiful islands of St.Kitts and St.Thomas, U.S Virgin Islands, I am Makeda, a passionate scientist and advocate for the preservation of coral reefs.

My journey is fueled by a deep connection to the ocean. For me, coral reefs are more than just ecosystems, but integral to my culture.
